Anita Mansata is a Calcutta-based artist and interior designer with over 30 years of experience in retail, hospitality, residential, and corporate interiors. A graduate of Sir J.J. School of Art, Bombay, she completed her Master’s at the London College of Furniture, UK, and was a member of the Society of Industrial Artists and Designers (SIAD), UK.
She was among the early designers in India to work on large-format retail and turnkey projects, notably designing Landmark bookstores across India and Starmark bookstores in Kolkata. Her portfolio also includes projects for Taj Hotels, Tata-Trent, Metal Junction at Tata Centre Kolkata, Mahindra & Mahindra guest houses, Bank of Tokyo residences, Itochu Corporation residences, and Saturday Club lounges.
Alongside her design practice, Anita continues her journey as an artist, bringing together art, culture, and spatial storytelling in her work.
